Easter Weekend

Ryder and Gwen looking confused!

The kids had a blast this weekend with dying eggs, two easter egg hunts and of course WAY too much candy! Friday, we colored eggs at home with the other kids in my daycare. This proved to be a pointless activity and next year I will try to do a more creative activity. The kids loved watching their eggs change colors, but when it came to decorate only a couple of eggs survived. So for dinner we had a lot of colored deviled eggs with our hamburgers. On Saturday we went over to our friend's house and had an easter egg hunt. Ryder was a little hesitant at first, but caught on quick. We also colored more eggs. On Sunday morning the kids were surprised by the easter bunny and were ecstatic with their bouncy balls. I must add that the look on Ryder and Gwen's faces that morning were priceless. They had no idea why there were candy and toys when they came downstairs, but they rolled with it and had a good time. Sunday evening we went to Gage's parents house in Ogden and had an egg hunt, yummy lasagna dinner, roasted marshmallows, and then the kids rode the 4-wheeler and motorcycle. We had to drag Ryder away when it was time to leave (he would of rode that 4-wheeler forever) We now have enough chocolate to last us us a few months!
